This week is all about firsts: Monday marked the start of our very first ReBrick Building Contest, and today is the first we’ve had a bookmark appear twice in the week’s most popular bookmarks roundup. Scroll down to see which lucky bookmark has the honor of being featured twice in a row!

On a less fun note: ReBrick will be undergoing some maintenance next week on Wednesday, June 27th.  ReBrick will be unreachable between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. CEST (or 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. EST).  So if you can’t get to ReBrick during these things, it’s because we’re busy updating!

LEGO Inception

This video by VFX made the highest rated for last week, and now it’s the most viewed this week with over 2,500 total views!  Who would have thought such awesomeness could have come from an academic project organized by a couple of Visual Effects and Concept Design students at Staffordshire University?  I guess when you put 1,000 hours of work into something, it can really pay off! Maybe it’ll land most commented next week?

This car by the Arvo Brothers inspires conversation! Users have remarked on the photography, the strips, the car model, and even the MOC’s publicity in HispaBrick. This might be an older build, but, perhaps due to its clever design or vintage appeal, ReBrick fans can’t seem to say enough about it.

The community has spoken, steam punk is in! This build by V&A Steamworks is inspired by the 1909 French Film, A Trip to the Moon, although you don’t need to have seen the film to love this MOC—as one can see its recent popularity.

Hopefully next week we’ll be featuring some bookmarks from the ReBrick Building Challenge. Find out
