Since the new Hobbit trailer was released just last week, it is really no surprise that these Most Popular Bookmarks of the Week have a strong focus in the high fantasy realm. Of course, our Most Viewed and Most Commented bookmarks are straight out of Middle Earth, while our Highest Rated bookmark seems to be a fantasy epic in itself.

Note: Our Most Viewed, Most Commented, and Highest Rated pages are experiencing a weird bug right now (although they should be back to normal by Monday), so these builds were selected from RSS feeds for these categories.

Most Viewed

THE PILLARS OF THE KINGS

This bookmark has returned for a second week in a row to the top of the Most Viewed list. With a build that is so instantly recognizable to Lord of the Ring fans, ReBrick’ers can’t seem to get enough of this build, but can you blame them? It’s hard to believe this is the first bookmark ever submitted to ReBrick from shayd_phd!

Most Commented

MINAS TIRITH MEGA-MICROBUILD

Here’s another creation bookmarked and created by shayd_phd, although it’s clearly quite different from the Pillars of the Kings!  Although it’s only on a 32 stud base plate, with so much detail and fortification, I have to agree with AENEASRISES  here:  “If I was a LEGO Orc I'd steer clear of that place.”

Highest Rated

K'AL YNE

Last but not least, we have another micro scale kingdom, this one the capital in the world of Odan (which I believe is back story invited by the builder for this creation, but do correct me if I’m wrong).  Can you believe that despite the complexity and scope of this picture, this build isn’t done yet? When it’s done, the creation with be 4-5’ tall and 2’ wide, and maybe the biggest MOC (My Own Creation) ever done at in micro scale!

If you’re feeling this fantasy vibe, be sure to check out, comment, and like these creations!

They simply just look awsome. Maybe a LEGO LOTR movie could be a possibility :)

Wow. I just wanted to say thanks for not one, but two mentions of my LoTR builds. As you probably guessed, a lot of time and effort went into those designs, so it's very gratifying to find that people genuinely like them.
