If you know one thing about MasaoHidaka, it’s that he knows how to build pianos.
Upright, grand, harpsichord, he even builds some pipe organs.
He’s not bad at building a working Monorail either.
Perhaps it goes without saying, but these are all made of bricks.
As a 48-year-old builder from Hiroshima, Japan, Masao, our latest ReBrick’er of the Week, wants to share his love of music with the world by having one of his creations become an official set. His grand piano on LEGO CUUSOO (at 2,800+ supporters already), which includes a proposal for a Music Architecture set, which would include a background on a famous composer along with his piano. Of course, this means that MasaoHidaka has transformed Chopin, Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven, into some nice looking LEGO Minifigures.
One of the things Masao enjoys most about sharing his builds is the feedback he gets from his network. In additional to getting ideas from the builds of others, he takes the advice given to him by his peers to reconsider or update his creations. Therefore…
“It is very important that I have a lot of friends [who are fans] of LEGO® bricks in the world,” he explains. “My thought circuits are operating strongly [with] LEGO bricks.”
Of course, Masao is open to meeting new friends and fellow fans. Be sure to browse his YouTube Channel, support his CUUSOO projects, friend him on Facebook, and of course, follow or subscribe to his RSS feed on ReBrick.
