Like some unfortunate kids, Dave, or Battlebrik as he’s known on ReBrick, grew up with off-brand bricks.  While this allowed him to grow his building talents, when he grew up and had children of his own (now ages 11 and 13), he made sure to introduce them to the “real deal” – authentic LEGO® sets.

“It has been a great platform for me and my boys to share countless hours discussing, creating, building, and playing,” Dave explains. “As time has passed, so has the ‘level of sophistication’ of our interests and builds, but LEGO [bricks] have always been up to the challenge.”

Dave’s current building passion involves combining tactical miniatures board games with LEGO creations. This means you’ll find gladiators, barbarians, and other ancient warriors in his ReBrick bookmarks.

Dave and his kids love this combination so much they’ve even created their own CUUSOO project for a LEGO game.

When you can’t find Dave building with his boys or browsing the LEGO Minifigure category on ReBrick, you can also find him on Board Game Geek – a community for, you guessed it – board games.

Be sure to follow Battlebrik and subscribe to his RSS feed to keep up with his latest bookmarks.
