There’s one word to describe JoeyLEGOWorld’s creations: cute.

Unlike some fans who busy themselves with cars and spaceships, Joey’s specialty is dioramas and figurines.  The 36-year-old AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO®) just started building again six years ago after a 22 year Dark Age (yikes!). However, it’s only last year that he begun creating his own builds, rather than sets.

“The joy when completing a set or MOC (My Own Creation) is great,” he explains. “LEGO [bricks] bring back good childhood memories.”

You can definitely see these childhood memories in his Disney and storybook MOCs, such as his Wizard and Oz build. These creations do not look like the work of someone new to crafting unique builds.

Since he’s begun building MOCs, Joey has been busy. You can already view a gallery of original pieces on his MOCpage account, and he even has some projects up on LEGO CUUSOO.

“I build almost every day,” Joey goes on. “I also admire others creations (very very much!) and their creativity of using of LEGO elements to create whatever they can dream of.”

If you’re a fan of Joey’s cute creations, follow his RSS feed to see when he bookmarks something new. You can also follow him on ReBrick by clicking the “follow” link on his profile.
