We wanted to let you know about an exciting opportunity coming up next month for all ReBrick members – The ReBrick Curator Challenge.

Those with history on ReBrick will remember the Curator from Rebrick’s beginnings. In short, Curators helped maintain the quality of content within a particular category and high lighted the best stuff on the font page. We’re revamping the Curator Program to serve the current needs of the community, and we want you to get involved!

We need you to help curate new original LEGO® creations by sharing them with the ReBrick community. Since a sizable part of the ReBrick community contains non-AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO), you’re not only helping these builds gain exposure, you’re showing those new to the LEGO community what amazing things can be done with bricks.

The Challenge in Short:

The ReBrick Curator Challenge invites 20 users to submit at least 30 high quality bookmarks on a monthly basis starting November 1st, 2012 and ending April 30th 2013. At the end of this period, users active in the program will win a surprise exclusive set from The LEGO Group.  Users who cannot make the 30 bookmark a month minimum will be dropped from the challenge.

How to Get Involved:

We will hand pick users to invite based on their activity and quality of posts. If you’d like to be involved in the challenge, get out there and show us what you’re made of by bookmarking the hottest next builds!

The Prize:

Currently the prize is a surprise – we will reward participants with an exclusive set, one that will be relevant for the time the challenge concludes (April 2013), so we cannot yet announce the prize (if you are familiar with past contests however, you know we can provide some really awesome prizes).

On November 1st we will announce which users are a part of the Challenge. The users will receive an email with information from the LEGO Group and on the ReBrick blog we’ll list the usernames of the new Curators. If you didn’t get picked, don’t worry! We will make fun challenges every once in a while. All you need to do to keep updated is to check the ReBrick blog for announcements.

It’s as simple as that! 20 users. 30 quality bookmarks a month. Six months. An exclusive set for each of the users who can stay active. If you want to take part, get out there and get bookmarking!
