Why "pirate" ?

Well, the word "pirate" comes from Greek word "peirates" meaning "the one who tries" and that's what I like doing : going for design "adventures".
The second reason is cultural : I was born in Saint Malo, the privateer's city ! ...

in fact the good question is : why "designer" ?!?
