NASA has 3 challenges that can be done in the classroom. This is a diagram of one of the line follow challenges called Sumo Challenge. I think that Lego competitions would be better if students were forced to solve a problem at the competition such as a line follow problem-then you would know if the students were really the problem solvers, instead of the parents or mentors.
