The stark contrast of a totally block build with the grey background (I am also guessing this photo was taken in B&W) gives a great overall effect. The angle is really effective as well. The original Bates house set was actually smaller than normal size to emphasize Tony Perkins' height and make his presence more looming and ominous. You have captured the same feeling of foreboding with your build and photography. Well done!
